public enum DatasetFormatVersion
extends Enum<DatasetFormatVersion>

Specifies serialization format versions of staging data sets. Applications that need compatibility with older DataRush versions in later processing steps may need to specify a format version explicitly in order to write an old format. If no format version is specified, the current format version (CURRENT_VERSION) is used by default.

NOTE: Data set format versions change more slowly than DataRush SDK versions. See the individual format versions for their corresponding DataRush versions.

Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:

for (DatasetFormatVersion c : DatasetFormatVersion.values())
    System.out.println(c);

Returns:

an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared

valueOf

public static DatasetFormatVersion valueOf(String name)

Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

Parameters:

name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.

Returns:

the enum constant with the specified name

Throws:

IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name

NullPointerException - if the argument is null

getVersionString

public String getVersionString()

Get String representation of version object

Returns:

"1.0", "2.0" etc.

getVersion

public static DatasetFormatVersion getVersion(String versionString)

Get version object from its String representation.

Parameters:

versionString - string representation of the version number ("1.0", "2.0" etc).

Returns:

corresponding format version object, or null if versionString does not correspond to any known format version.
